The KBUT Board of Directors is comprised of seven volunteer members. Their duties include hiring and evaluating the general manager, developing and implementing a long-range, strategic plan outlining the goals and objectives of the station, fundraising and fiscal accountability. Terms are for two years. Members are elected by the membership at the Annual Members’ Meeting held every year on the second Saturday of January. The board holds a regular meeting every other month, and meetings are open to the public.

The Annual Members' Meeting will be held on Saturday, January 12th at 5 pm at KBUT, located at 508 Maroon Ave. in Crested Butte.
The annual "state of the station" address will be given and board elections will take place at this meeting. There are 2 board seats up for election. KBUT members, those who have paid the basic membership of $40 or more within the last year, are eligible to run for a board seat or to vote.
