Mozart composed The Magic Flute just months before he died in 1791. This profound, yet lighthearted talke of love and spiritual transcendence was his final opera. Mozart's libretto centers on Prince Tamino , who is sent to rescue a princess in peril. Tamino's friend, Papageno, a bird catcher, joins him for comic relief. Come enjoy this fairytale parody, as you have never seen it before!
July 22 - 4:00pm, $20 suggested donation, Center for the Arts, open dress rehearsal.
July 25, 26, 28, 29 - 7:00pm, $55, Center for the Arts.
July 23 - 4:00pm, free, Club at Crested Butte, pre-opera talk with Keith Miller, Sarah Meyers, David Syrus.
