WHEN: Friday October 5, 9-12PM
WHERE: Meet at Old Rock Community Library
Kids ages six to 12 (and beyond!)-- join the Coal Creek Watershed Coalition and Old Rock Community Library to learn the watershed wisdom from nature’s ecological engineers: BEAVERS! We’ll walk the Slate River and use our tracking skills to understand the beaver’s methods of ecosystem transformation. Wear shoes that can get muddy, bring a snack and rain gear! Crafts and story time to follow. Please register for this free program by calling Jen at the library at 970-349-6535. For more information, contact crystal@coalcreek.org.
