Buy Sustainable Gifts & Support Mountain Roots
Add to your calendar
Date: November 16, 9:00 am
Continues Until:
Location: Fred's Field Fairgrounds
Details:
Visit our booth at the Sugar Plum Festival for eco-conscious, sustainable holiday gifts. We'll be selling mushroom growing kits, cheese making kits, Aquafarms, organic soup mixes, and our own organic shirts and tote bags. Kids can check out our "Made be Me" station, where they can turn peanuts into peanut butter, pack it into a jar, cover it with fabric, and finish with a personalized label.  Proceeds from purchases will support Mountain Roots Farm to School, Community Gardens, and Access & Outreach programs, all working to build a sustainable food future in Gunnison Valley. Gifts are also available for purchase on-line at www.mountainrootsfoodproject.org.
