Add to your calendar
Date: December 29, 6:00 pm
Location: Townie Books
Details:

Poet and author David Rothman will read from his newest book LIVING THE LIFE: STORIES FROM AMERICA’S MOUNTAINS AND SKI TOWNS on Sunday, December 29th at 6 pm at Townie Books located at 414 Elk Ave.

Rothman’s essay collection celebrates the land of winter and Rothman’s roles as mountaineer, ski racer, father, and all-around life enthusiast. Rothman explains that one way he affirms life is to “go skiing at least one day every month. Not every month of the ski season?—?every month of the year. Every year. It’s an obsession.”

David J. Rothman has been an East Coast NCAA Division I alpine ski racer, mountain sports journalist, and ski and snowboard academy headmaster in Colorado. He co-founded the Crested Butte Music Festival and is poet-in-residence for Colorado Public Radio.
