Chris Rourke (top), Editor of the Gunnison Country Times, and co-host of Community Matters on KBUT, asked Gunnison Public Health Director Joni Reynolds (bottom) why officials decided not to impose more stringent public health orders in the face of rising cases.

Reynolds explained that Gunnison Valley Health, as well as hospitals around Colorado, were seeing fewer numbers of COVID19 patients that needed hospitalization. She says that’s because patients are generally younger than they were earlier in the pandemic.
