Tribute to Lynda Jackson Petito – Midday Mixtape 4/28/26

Lynda Jackson Petito was a founding DJ on KBUT when the station went on the air in 1986. She was on the air with one (sometimes two) shows a week for almost 34 years before retiring from the Air Chair in May 2019. Lynda passed away peacefully on April 23, 2026. Her son Jackson is the current Executive Director of KBUT and hosts the Midday Mixtape every Tuesday. The April 28, 2026 Episode of the Midday Mixtape was a musical tribute to Lynda.
