Dr. Paul Caradonna is a professor of plant biology and conservation at Northwestern University and also at The Chicago Botanic Garden. He is also a scientist at the Rocky Mountain Biological Laboratory, where he studies community ecology in plants and pollinators. Mark Dorf is a digital media artist, filmmaker, photographer, and sculptor. Together, they have spent a great deal of time exploring the common ground between art and science, learning what artists can learn from scientists and what scientists can learn from artists. Turns out, they each learn plenty from the other.
