KBUT Community Radio invites you to the 24th Annual Friday Night Fish Fry on Friday, June 12th, 2026.

Join us for this fantastic, FREE community event. Purchase your dinner tickets for a delicious Cajun-style fish fry plate, or just come by the event to enjoy LIVE music by Highlife and guests, DJs, fun kids activities from The Trailhead Museum, lawn games, community gathering time, KBUT summer raffle drawing, and more! Bar onsite with drinks available for purchase. A la carte beignets for purchase as well. “Laissez les bon temps rouler! Let the good times roll!”

Menu:

Dinner includes fried catfish, crawfish beignets, red beans & rice with Andouille sausage, coleslaw, and cornbread. Spenny’s Ice Cream Cart, proudly serving Third Bowl homemade ice cream, will be on site. Vegetarian red beans available. Traditional southern meal, sorry no GF/DF/V options.

In accordance with town sustainability law, and our caring efforts to reduce waste you must:

Bring your own plate, utensils & cup OR purchase KBUT plate/utensil set for $10.

We will provide a wash station to rinse your plates before taking home. Or bring Tupperware if you anticipate leftovers. Aluminum cups will be available for purchase at bar for drinks or bring your own.

Location: Outside KBUT studio in Crank’s plaza, 508 Maroon Ave, Crested Butte.

What to Bring:

Since this is an outdoor event, please dress accordingly. This time of year it can be sunny and hot or rainy and cold. So please bring rain jackets, warm layers, umbrellas, etc. Community lawn games, hula hoops, etc. are welcome. (And bring your cups, plates, utensils if you do not want to purchase!)

We provide picnic tables but some folks like to bring their own camping chairs or blankets to eat on.

Schedule:

4pm-8pm:

Bar is open and Fish Fry dinner served. A la carte menu items and ice cream available for purchase. Raffle tickets can be purchased until 8pm!

4pm-7pm:

Music by KBUT DJs, kids activities by The Trailhead, lawn games, community socializing, and more!

7pm-9pm

Live music with great local band, Highlife, with special guest artists.

8:30pm:

Summer Raffle drawing

9:45pm:

Last call at the bar

10pm:

Event ends and clean up begins! Please help us clean up and take home the leftovers!!!
