Long-time local Doug Hankins graduated from Western Colorado University this past spring with a BA in Communications and a minor in Sociology. That may sound ordinary, but Doug is a most unusual and inspiring graduate. He’s here to share the story of how he finally accomplished his goal of becoming a college graduate and what higher education has contributed to both his career and to the richness of his life.
